Scientists have begun testing a way to combine bio ink, stem cells and 3D printers to create human cornea’s to treat disease or injury. Quite an interesting future for optical surgery. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Will this be able to be used to treat vision issues? Will this be able to be ported to other human applications such as other failed organs? We might not fully see it in our life time, but this has promise we believe.
